The world has advanced in terms of technology. Every day, people are looking for different ways to find loopholes to add more security features to the technology. Various security agencies have employed ethical hackers to try hacking different software and accounts to find the technology gap and fix it before it gets leaked.
The purpose of hacking
It is easy for a government agent to hack an Instagram password for security purposes. These agents don’t need to explain to anyone except the higher authorities before hacking an account or why they are hacking a particular account. It cannot be denied by the person who uses that account, nor can he request for not hacking their account. The reasons for hacking can be any such as:
- There might have been any unethical activity near the area where this account can be active, or the phone in which the account was accessed could be active. The account could be used to track the criminal behind the activities.
- There are cases where emails regarding fake lottery are sent to many people, and when a person clicks the money, they lose access to their bank accounts and other files on the device from which the link was clicked. The person might lose his data and money instantly. The spam or virus-encrypted emails are tracked by hacking the password.
- There might be some stalking activity going from an Instagram account where the user sends controversial messages to other users and mentally disturbs them. Such accounts, when reported, are hacked by the agents to confirm the threat and take action accordingly.
- When a person loses the password to his account, the only way to get his account back is by hacking the password. The request, when granted by the authorities, the person can legally get his account hacked and change the password.
These features of account hacking are both ethical and unethical. Ethical ways are used by legal advisors and government agents for security purposes, whereas unethical ways are used by frauds, terrorists, and other scam users.
